Project Overview

This BFA gallery show brings together a deep love of books, design, faith, and beauty through a series of rebound and thoughtfully redesigned volumes. Each piece begins with an existing text and is carefully reconstructed. Its cover, typography, materials, and structure reimagined with intention and care. Through this process, the books are not only restored, but renewed, to honor both the narrative inside and the physical form that carries it.

My creative process reflects the values that guide my daily life: purpose, care, discipline, and gratitude. I see design as a gift I’ve been given, and this work is a way of stewarding that gift well. The act of deconstructing and rebuilding each book mirrors a broader theme of restoration. Recognizing potential, investing time and attention, and bringing something worn into renewed beauty through patience and skill.

This exhibition ultimately celebrates the relationship between story, material, and the act of making. It reflects a commitment to living intentionally and creating work that is thoughtful, beautiful, and rooted in meaning, both on and off the page.
